Maxime is currently in foster in the UK, Birmingham area. Max is a Foxhound who came into foster 2 months ago. He had a pretty rough start to life, finding himself in a terrible shelter in Cyprus, then being rescued by a wonderful shelter only to become gravely ill with Parvo. We didn't think he was going to make it but he pulled through and bounced back thanks to the love and care he received from Maria Mourne and her colleagues. We wanted him to have the best opportunity to be adopted so Max flew into the UK as a foster earlier this year. He has learnt so much since living with his foster family. Max could be summed up in one word - fun! Or maybe! 🙈🙉🙊 He has been allowed to find his inner child (pup) since arriving in the UK. Max would benefit from someone who enjoyed playing ...and playing some more! He's a very bright boy. He's fully housetrained and crate trained. He's learnt so much out on his walks, now pulling less but training would need to continue. He is a hound and scent led, so off-lead work would have to be once recall was tip top. Max needs an active life. He's great in the car, fab with other dogs, not cat tested but he’s a bit too inquisitive when he sees them in the street! Older / teenage children could be considered. He's very puppy-like and still pretty goofy but so adorable and loving too. Could you be his perfect forever home? 💕
