Lara currently in Bradford Yorkshire and 4.5 years old
Gorgeous Lara is looking for a new home. Lara’s mummy has asked us to help find Lara a new home as she is now left alone between 8/10 hours a day (taken out by a dog walker daily).
Lara really is an amazing dog and is more than happy chilling at home. However, her mummy believes that she deserves more than this as Lara is so loving and she would be a great companion for someone that has more time for her.
Lara is really relaxed in the house, loves being cosy in her bed, really enjoys chilling in the sun in the garden, likes to play for a few mins to burn off some energy but then she just likes to relax, loves having a cuddle but doesn’t need your attention all the time and she has never chewed or damaged anything in the house.
She currently lives with a cat which she is fine with, however does sometimes get jealous and doesn’t always want the cat to have more attention than her 😂
Message from Lara’s dog walker:
Lara is a very happy dog once trust is gained and is excitable initially on walks. Once calm, she walks beautifully on lead. She prefers playing with the less boisterous dogs and can sometimes shy away from those. Off lead, she responds well when called unless she’s spooked in any way - then it can take some tempting but she never runs off, just keeps her distance until she knows all’s ok.
Message from Kelly Newbound her foster mum in Cyprus 2020:
Before flying to the UK from Cyprus Lara was living as a stray and had 5 puppy’s. She was then taken into foster by myself and she was a dream. Such an amazing mummy and was great with the other dogs in my house. She was very loving and really enjoyed the comforts of being in a home.
Lara is a Lab mix and is around 5-6 years old and is a large size dog. She would be better off living in a home with older children and would be a fantastic dog for an couple reaching their retirement.
