Lovely Hazel flew over to the UK from our shelter in Cyprus last year. Unfortunately, she didn’t settle in well in her adoptive home and moved into a foster home a couple of weeks ago.
Hazel is looking for a patient home to call her own, with owners who have time to spend with her and help her continue to gain confidence.

We are already seeing Hazel start to flourish in her foster home, after only a few short weeks 💕

Hazel is a very gentle dog, who has been fine around older children. She is a hound, and loves running around secure fields, sniffing and playing. Her recall needs to be built up, so for the time being she can only be off lead in secure fields. 🐕
She’s very good with other dogs off lead and currently lives happily with other dogs in her foster home. She’s happy to be left alone for short periods and Hazel will need a secure garden to run around in and sunbathe! ☀️
She has a cheeky side, pinching the odd slipper!! She’ll need some training on walking on the lead, as she does pull on the lead. She is quite nervous of traffic, so she will need time and patience to grow her confidence on busier walks.

Her housetraining has come on really well in foster but you’ll need to be understanding that she may have a couple of accidents while she’s settling in to a new home.

Hazel can’t live with cats or small furries as she will chase them.
