**In foster in Nottinghamshire**

Meet Joey, our beautiful puppy boy.

Joey was rescued from an overcrowded pound together with his siblings who all now found their forever homes. Joey secured his flight to the UK in June and is in a loving family foster home in Nottinghamshire.

Joey is an adorable, super loving and playful boy who loooves being around humans!!! While in the shelter in Cyprus, he got along perfectly with other dogs and played a lot with other dogs - but when people are around he loves getting cuddles and attention more than anything else.

In his foster home, he lives with a couple and their son - he has built an incredible bond with his human foster brother and is loving, cheeky and playful.
Joey is about 6-7 months old. He will be medium to big size boy and because he is very clever he will need a family that can provide some mental stimulation as well as an active lifestyle.
In his foster home, Joey is playing lots of brain games - he’s very smart and loves learning new things. He’s enjoying exploring on his walkies and has even been to watch his human foster brother play football!
Most of all - he loves cuddles on the sofa!!! After playtime, training or walkies, he’s more than happy to settle down with a chew and relax.

Here’s what his foster family say about him:
“Joey is a gorgeous, fun-loving pup, who absolutely adores cuddles, fuss and attention. He’s a typical puppy, playful, lots of energy and loves to chew. His special favourite chews are pigs ears, bull pizzle and chicken feet, which he loves to save for later by burying in the garden or in his blankets - he sometimes remembers where he put them ☺️
He’s been a dream to train and picked things up very quickly. He’s only had one accident in the house when he first arrived and was learning the routine, but other than that has had no accidents and goes to the toilet in the garden. He’s been working hard at his obedience training and is excellent at the sit command. He can sit, lie down and is quickly picking up ‘stay’ and ‘leave it’, his recall is fairly good too - especially if you have a tasty snack 😋
He enjoys his walks and is getting much better on the lead, especially when there is a brisk pace. While he has been a bit wary meeting some men for the first time, he quickly warms up and everyone he has met so far - both children and adults - have quickly fallen in love with him.”

Joey could live with a resident dog or alone. He has not been cat tested.
