Indy
Meet Indy
This boy has come on in leaps and bounds since he was found on the street weighing just 9.5 KG and at deaths door.
Now a healthy 25Kg he is ready to find his furever home.
Indy is 5.5 year young and is currently in a wonderful foster home in Cyprus.
His foster mum has this to say about him:
Not normally a softie, my heart broke when I saw the state Indy was in the day he was dumped at the pound. Who’d have thought such a poorly, skinny dog would turn into the bouncy, lively boy he is today. What a loving and affectionate dog he is, always up for a cuddle, neck scratch or belly rub. His very favourite thing is just to be with you (including in the bathroom!) From day 1, Indy has been good in the house, no ‘accidents’ and no chewing. He also knows not to go on furniture unless invited. If I need to go out I can leave him (with his foster brother) without worry for up to 3 or 4 hours and he always lets me know how happy he is to see me home. Indy is very food motivated - bad for the waistline but good for training. He’s good on a lead and returns, sits and gives paw on command. He’s not particularly interested in toys but does enjoy a game of fetch with his tennis ball. If there is any negative it would be that Indy wants to be everyone’s friend and hasn’t realised yet that not everyone (human, canine or feline) feels the same. He just needs to temper his enthusiasm a little and he will make the ideal companion.
Indy did test positive for leishmania but this has now been treated and he just requires a cheap tablet with his meals to live a normal life.
