Bear is a two years old German Shepherd xx . With ears that point to the sky, he is not just a very handsome boy , he is smart with a capital S!
Bear came into the shelter after being abandoned by his former owner.
Ex owner has had some plans to travel , and …, obviously, having Bear was proving to be too much of a tie, so he got rid of him. Bear was left in the shelter in a state of complete confusion. One day he’d had a home to call his own, the next he was sleeping on a concrete floor in a kennel. Bear was waiting for weeks by the kennel door in case the owner came back.… It was in his eyes: “ No , He will back for me … I will wait ..I know he will be right back for me .. I was a good boy.. He will.. maybe tomorrow.. “… Bear has now accepted: he has no home … no owner …. he being dumped by a human he trusted and loved….accepted that the shelter is his new home… But he’s not happy there. He’s been a companion before and that’s clear in the way he’s desperate to be with people .
He needs to leave the shelter as he’s getting so depressed and stressed out.

Having playful and active nature, he is desperate to please humans. Bear respond good to commands and good on the lead. He would love learning new things to keep his alert mind engaged , learn new commands tricks and games! ❤️🫶
He is not very fond of other dogs and cats, but he adores people.
And because smart dogs are not for everyone, he has to go to the best home : the one that will take him to training, spend time with him.
Bear needs a family who is aware of his breed characteristics regarding energy levels , size , space and time needed.
Bear will be suitable to an active family, rural location, a garden, children if any over 12 years old due to his excitement and size.
Will you be the one to help Bear become all that he can be?
Bear can fly to UK as soon a forever home will be offered.
