Patrick
Meet Patrick 🐾💞 a living testament to the indomitable spirit and the healing power of love
Please read his story and help our boy find his forever home 🙏❤️
Just months ago, he faced unimaginable adversity, a mere shadow of himself. Emaciated, blind, and bearing the scars of unspeakable trauma, Patrick’s survival seemed like a distant dream. We stood on the precipice of a heartbreaking decision, fearing we might have to release him from his pain. Yet, Patrick had a fighter’s spirit, and today, his transformation stands as a beacon of hope 💞
At 7 years old, his one eye was beyond repair, he was either hit or shot as there was a massive hole above the eye. It was a constant battle with infections. Eventually, we made the difficult choice to remove it, a step towards healing that Patrick bravely faced. Through it all, his other eye recovered very well and his vision eventually restored.
In the amazing care of his loving foster mom, Patrick’s transformation has been nothing short of miraculous. Surrounded by care and boundless affection, the wounds of the past both on his body and soul have healed. Daily swims are his joyful ritual, playtime with foster siblings is a delight, and he showers his foster mom with boundless affection.
Patrick is also positive for leishmania. He finished his treatment and he did very well. He will be on a cheap daily pill possibly for life. He can live a long and healthy life with correct monitoring and the charity has a lot of experience to support his family ❤️
Patrick, once a fragile soul, now radiates resilience and a deep capacity for love. He’s ready to bless his forever family, the one that will cherish him as he deserves. Let’s unite to ensure Patrick finds the five-star home he’s been waiting for. Your heart will forever be touched by this extraordinary soul. 🌟🐾
