Ronnie -3 year old Cyprus hound -Cyprus

Ronnie was dumped in a village with his brother Reggie , totally terrified
Both boys were skinny , covered in ticks and in desperate need

It took Ronnie quite some time to realise he was safe , that the humans he was now with wouldn't hurt him
He's very hand shy , we can only imagine the life this boy has been subjected to as a hunters dog
Ronnie clings to his brother for reassurance and comfort still but he's learning he's in a better and safe place, with humans that will treat him kindly , feed him regularly and care for him
It's taken in a while to accept this but he's understanding slowly

Ronnie is also now appreciating the joys of human interaction and affection
He so wants to come forward for strokes however he's still hesitant , it's no wonder with the life hes experienced
He needs a family who will work with him to build his confidence , reassure him he's in a good place and can trust his family . There could be no more deserving case than Ronnie , a dog we know would blossom and flourish in a loving and secure environment

Ronnie would be better suited in a home with older children , over 12 years . A quieter home with people who understand he would need time and patience , he will only ever have lived in a dirty cramped hunters cage so moving into a home will be a big adjustment , our experience is though dogs like Ronnie soon realise and appreciate all those wonderful comforts of a loving home
We'd love him to be adopted with his brother but understand this isn't likely but he will need a resident dog to help him adjust to a new home, teach him.and support him
