This tremendous boys spirit is being crushed with every day he spend in the shelter
Super friendly with humans and incredibly affectionate , he continually gets overlooked due to his colour

Onyx came into the shelter as a stray , he was only a puppy , now he's spent the majority of his short life penned in without the exercise he so craves .
He's lively , energetic and full of beans so to see this type of dog hardly ever get out of the kennels is too heart breaking

He's not the best with other dogs and can be reactive so we think he'd be better as an only dog although this shouldn't put adopters off .The shelter can be a pressure cooker environment for some dogs , desperate for attention , exercise , often coping under adverse conditions .Once out of the kennels dogs can behave quite differently
He has plenty of energy , his idea of heaven would be an adult only household who were very outdoor and active .Maybe a dog savvy family who will harness his energy! Enjoy training him , helping him adjust to a home life .He's as bright as a button ! He'll love someone to take the time to teach and train him
We know the rewards will be great ! he 'll gives so much love in return

Onyx has so much to offer , we don't want to see this boys life force be drained in the shelter
He deserves so much more
