Zeki - 18 Yr old - mixed breed -uk foster Lincolnshire

How could a boy of such outstanding character end up in the shelter ? How could someone have thrown him out like rubbish to end up on the streets ? We shall never know his full story but we do know he was picked up by the council , roaming , looking for food

Zeki spent 6 long months at the shelter without one potential adopter come to see him 💔
This is the tragedy of shelter dogs , no one knows they exist, they are unseen , almost invisible
The decision was for him to come to the UK April 2024

Zeki aka ScoobyDoo – Oh boy, what a boy!
He is a very handsome boy with soft fur and kissable muzzle.
He is an incredibly intelligent, very loyal, loving and faithful to his human(s). All he wants, is to have his humans near, be with them, hear them, see then and feel them. He will gently push his body into his humans, and this gives him a lot of comfort. For him, happiness means to belong to his family and to be loved.
When his foster dad is exercising, he is always there for him, to support him and to make sure that he is doing all exercises right. Including plank, when he sits on his foster dad’s back to give motivational support
When his foster mum is gardening, he is always there to make sure the holes are deep enough and to check if everything is in the right order .
He is a loving, gentle boy who all he needs is his family.
He will do anything to please.
He loves his family so much, that he doesn’t like to share it with other dogs though. His ideal family would have only him to spoil, shower with love and attention.
In return, he will always be there, near, ready to please, ready to love back and ready for all the adventures ahead.
He is fine with his crate, he likes sleeping in there, even with closed flap door.
He spends nights in the lounge with baby gate closed and he is very quiet and sleeps through the night very nicely. He is generally a quiet boy, who barks only if something concerns him. He is also a very good with toileting outside.
Zeki is making a great progress on recall, sit command and lead walking and his forever family should provide him with a further training on that. He also needs a positive reinforcement on putting a harness on.
We love this boy incredibly, we are going to miss him immensely, we are going to miss his soft and fluffy muzzle and loving personality.
Whoever will give this boy a loving home will be very lucky and will gain a fantastic companion and a friend who will give his unconditional love.
