Oscar

Oscar , 11 months old, was found as a stray and is now in the care of the shelter where he has been living for the past few months. He has slotted in no bother, and is always happy to meet new people and get fussed over.

Based on his appearance and energy levels we think Oscar is likely a Border Collie mix, and as you can imagine, he is so bored in the shelter. He needs an active, interesting life to keep his mind busy and let off steam, but unfortunately that’s just not possible in a shelter. He spends most of his time stocking his head through the bars of his kennel trying to get attention from anyone who’ll notice him. He adores people and is incredibly loyal.

Oscar is particularly good with female dogs and has shared his kennel spare with a few different ladies since he arrived. He gets on well with them, but would be more than happy as the only resident dog as he is confident and more interested in interacting with people than other pups.

Oscar needs an active home with a garden. He also needs someone who understands the mental and physical needs of a high energy dog and is prepared to continue training. Oscar is so smart and loves to please, so he picks up new things really fast. Due to his energy levels we would suggest he’s suitable for a home with kids aged 10+ , but he has not been tested with cats.

Oscar can fly to UK as soon a forever home will be offered.
