Blade

Blade -9 years old Cyprus

Blade was found as a stray over 2 years ago .He's noe the longest resident at the shelter
We can honestly say he's also the saddest boy at the shelter
Forever overlooked due to his age . He has leishmania , few people will adopt a dog in Cyprus because of this , eventhough he's been treated , eventhough he is living a healthy life , only requiring a tablet a day

He has so much to offer a family still ! A family who doesn't hold any prejudice of age , or whether he has thos condition , a family who truly wants to save a dog

He's so kind and loving , you see it in his sad eyes he wants to be loved badly but there really is no one to love .The shelter team do their best but Blade longs to be out of his kennel to be with humans , he treasures the few moments he has outside of his cage , given some treats or taken for a short walk around the shelter

His life is beyond tragic .Too often we see dogs like Blade thrown on the scrapheap of life, considered past it , has beens , he has plenty of life worth living if only someone could see it !!

He's a good girl with other dogs , lovely with people , craves love , affectionate and attention ♥️
He behaves well on a leash , may pull a little .He could be placed with a family with older children over 10 years
Hes energy is quite low , Blade would be happy with an older couple maybe who don't want a lively dog in their life anymore .who are happy to take on an older boy because they realise older dogs have value too !! They can still bring such joy to our lives and more than ever the clock is ticking for them. His life are precious too
