Izzy - 2 Yr old - female - pointer Cross- Cyprus

Poor Izzy found herself dumped in a village in Cyprus , frightened, thin , exhausted
We have no idea what she'd been through but considering her poor condition and fear we don't have to think too hard. She was fortunate enough to be caught and taken to the small shelter where she received the vet care , food and love she so badly needed
Izzy no doubt was a hunters dog who suffered the neglect and abuse so many often do

She was very shy when she first arrived, worried someone might hurt her but with a little time she realised she was in a safe place .

Dogs are so incredible in their capacity to forgive, love and trust again and Izzy is no exception to that !
Izzy soon warmed up to her rescuer, rewarding her with lots of kisses when she came to the shelter to feed her

Since arriving at the shelter we have learnt more about this beautiful girl!
We've discovered she has the sweetest of personalities , she's
Very gentle in her nature with a calm disposition for a young dog

Now she's more relaxed we've seen her fun loving and playful side too , she interacts well with all the dogs she meets at the shelter , she's often been seen trying to initiate a game of chase with another dog or two !

She adores love and affection , learning now a raised hand doesn't mean pain any more but a kind stroke or a tickle behind her ears .She soaks up all the attention she can get now ! Turning into quite a love bug 💕

Izzy loves the company of both humans and dogs , she'd do well in a home with another dog or two .A family with older children over 10 yrs would be preferable .Izzy may chase cats so a home without any small furries would be better

Above all Izzy needs a forever home where she's going to be given the time and patience to trust
A home that will support her to learn the house rules, enjoy teaching and training her , she's a very bright girl ! Who will soak it all up !
An active home with plenty of interesting walks would be a dream come true for her

Izzys formative years have been filled with sadness and yet she remains up beat , willing to love and trust again , dogs really are truly incredible!
She deserves a new life now with a family who adore her and will treasure her for the rest of her life
