Oakley

OAKLEY
3 year old GSD/Husky cross
Meet Oakley - a striking and affectionate boy with a captivating tan, black, and white coat.

Oakley has never known a family or a sofa to call his own. Oakley has sadly been a resident at the shelter in Cyprus since November 2022, since he was found as a stray. With such a long time in the shelter, Oakley has shown his resilience and bravery. Although Oakley’s past experiences have left him with some uncertainties, he exhibits no signs of aggression or fearfulness, showcasing his resilient spirit.
Oakley is a large boy that has a profound affinity for people, longing for human affection. He eagerly welcomes affection and readily forms bonds once he feels comfortable, displaying a charming mix of reservedness and quick openness. While he may initially appear shy, Oakley's confidence blossoms with reassurance and gentle guidance. His affectionate nature shines through as he seeks cuddles and human companionship, making him an ideal companion for an experienced owner who can provide him with the patience and understanding he deserves. Despite his size and initial reservations, Oakley is a gentle giant who yearns for a loving home where he can thrive and receive the attention he craves.

An absolute favourite at the shelter, he has captured the hearts of all the staff who will be sad to see him go, but know that he NEEDS a home where he can flourish, be the dog he has always wanted to be, and have all the undivided attention that he craves.

Oakley will need an experienced home who are willing socialise him and do some basic training, as this boy has been deprived of such since he was a puppy. He shows a willingness to learn so this should help.

If you're ready to open vour heart and home to a remarkable canine companion, consider welcoming Oakley into your life and witnessing the joy he brings every day.
