Team STAR would like to take this opportunity to thank you, our supporters. In another year of global challenges you stood by us and together we were able to continue to rescue, rehabilitate and find forever homes for the dogs that continue to so desperately need us.
To the rescuers who have saved so many dogs and because of their continued love and support the dream continues.
To our adopters who open their hearts and homes to our dogs and give them the life they deserve.
To our foster families whose love and patience is called upon so often and is always there in abundance.
To our volunteers and supporters – we fly on your wings and words cannot express our gratitude.
And of course – to the Cyprus dogs who expect so little but give so much.
They are our greatest teachers. Many suffer and experience the unthinkable at the hands of a human being and yet their hearts remain open.
They give us a chance to replace despair with hope, fear with trust, pain with peace and joy, and darkness with love. And when we take that chance and see the fear in their eyes replaced by trust, then we understand and feel the power of love.
Together we can continue to help every dog that comes under our care to find their forever homes. And together we will work towards a world where we won’t have to.
